Love is the basis of everything that exists in the universe.

Love is the sacred language of our universe.

Love is the basis of building an inclusive home for all.

A home is made up of special and wonderfully made individuals and each of us is perfectly imperfect in our own unique ways.

Binding people together with love will be meaningful to build an inclusive home for every one, not just you and me.

The showing of love and the emotions of being grateful and contented with what life has to offer are portrayed in my photograph.

The photo will capture a moment between a mother and her daughter.

The mum is recovering from her anxiety, a type of mental illness that exists in Singapore and in the world.

The daughter is her home where she finds peace, solace and hope in the midst of her anxiety.

In line with the mental health issues that will be in focus, they are chosen as my subjects and photography is chosen as a medium to resonate with the theme,

 “Building an Inclusive Home for All”.
