A heart bursting with gratitude
Written on 16 April 2021

My heart is bursting with gratitude. Life has been a ride. Losing friends and gaining new ones in the process. Learning and re-learning about stuff. I even found a new interest which is music. Music has always been part of me but after acknowledging that I am able to recognize different music tones and harmonize them using my emotions and intuition, I feel grateful. Yes, I do not have the financial abundance to go for music theory classes and for the practicum. But I want to be grateful for this natural talent that I have.
I used to regret everything but right now, I am in a better place to appreciate the small things in life. I am humbled by this whole entire experience in this school of life.
I re-discover my hobbies, passions, and interests for me to find myself at a deeper level.
I am very fortunate to have a space of time to find myself because there are people who do not have time to do that as they have to focus on making money to feed themselves and their family out of love.
The universe has been generous towards me by guiding me to find joy in life, to find interest in the mundane, to find peace in the midst of chaos, and to find meaning and purpose in this space of time.
Thank you, Universe, for your guidance and for your unconditional love for me. I come to this cradle of civilization with nothing and one day, I have to depart from this earth with nothing as well. So, I really hope for my potential future career, I am able to guide people towards a better path so that I can leave a legacy for future generations so that they can thrive and help the world to be a better place for everyone.
I have decided to join Simon Sinek's mission for the vast majority of people to wake up every day inspired, feel safe wherever they are, and end the day fulfilled by the work they do. When we care for people more than the results, our business will naturally thrive because the people under our wing are the ones that facilitate the whole process to be of service to the clients that we are serving. A friend of mine shared to me once that he learned from life to place more importance on building relationships more than material wealth. And I totally agree with him because investing our time in relationships may sound intangible and produce less apparent results. But when we build strong connections with business partners and with clients, they will help to connect to other potential partners and clients because they trust us. When people trust you, they will refer to other people whom they trust to open windows of opportunities that are not opened to just anyone.
My friend has become a better being through their trials of life and I am so proud of him to be able to learn from the school of life like how I am doing as well. I am grateful to be his friend.
