Chloë Manasseh
Written on the 29 April 2021

I decided to venture to 64 Spottiswoode Park Road to head to Art Porters Gallery. My intention is to see the artworks of Chloe Manasseh. Her works have been shown internationally with exhibitions in the USA,UK,Italy,Israel and Singapore. She is a British artist based in Singapore and currently working between Europe and Asia.
I managed to take a glance at her at the exhibition space and she is really a beautiful woman I have ever seen. She wears her usual clothing style and she carries her own elegance and simplicity as an artist.
The most mesmerizing painting is the one above called " The Gold that grows on trees." The painting carries a slight exuberance. I love the flowy brushstrokes. It makes me calm. It feels like the whole painting is illuminating in the dark. When I love a painting, i could just stand in front for a long time. This is my best favourite painting. The bird is so beautiful in its green botanical colour. I am in love with the blue leaves of varying colour gradation.
I am planning to join in a session to engage with the artist on the 6th of May so that I can ask her a few questions out of curiosity. It is always a good idea to meet the artist in real-time and have a conversation with them about their artwork.
Do take a look at her main portfolio website for more information about Chloe Manasseh.
